Overview

The BHS Automatic Transfer Carriage allows you to convert your existing pallet truck into an efficient portable battery changer.  The ATC is available in four models, and many flexible options are available to satisfy your unique battery handling requirements.

Available Options

Hook & Chain (ATC-HC)

Manual hook-up option available as a back-up extraction mechanism for vacuum or magnet extraction models

Vacuum Extraction (ATC-VAC)

Vacuum option eliminates the need for manual hook-up and reduces wear and tear on batteries

Magnet Extraction (ATC-MAG)

Magnet option eliminates the need for manual hook-up and reduces wear and tear on batteries. Ideal when batteries are too narrow for vacuum extraction

7" Cantilever (ATC-CAN-7)

Extends extractor arm reach an additional 7". Ideal for use with outriggers.

7" Cantilever & 6" Extension Bed (ATC-CAN-7-6)

7" additional extractor arm reach. 6" bed extension accommodates longer batteries.

14" Cantilever & 6" Extension Bed (ATC-CAN-14-6)

14" additional extractor arm reach is ideal for use with outriggers. 6" bed extension accommodates longer batteries.

14" additional extractor arm reach is ideal for use with outriggers. 8" bed extension accommodates longer batteries.

Low Profile (ATC-LPF)

Allows roller height to be adjusted 7/8" lower than standard unit

Rubber Bumper (ATC-RB)

Protects lift truck during battery change outs

Remote Control (ATC-RMT)

6' cord enables ATC control from operator's position on fork lift

Drop-in Rollers (ATC-DIR)

Increases roller height up to 10" to reach battery compartments beyond pallet truck maximum lift
Note: Recommended when ATC-2TIER is not feasible and multiple battery height extractions are required.

Fork Pocket/QDY/Tongue Kit (ATC-FP-C)

Designed for frequent pallet truck change over. Includes a tongue kit to enhance stability and dual SB-175 gray connectors (ATC-QDY)

Fork Pocket Mounting (ATC-FP )

Designed for use with lift trucks, may be used in conjunction with the following options: Remote control (ATC-RMT), Self-contained battery (ATC-BATT) and Charger (ATC-CHGR), and Vacuum extraction (ATC-VAC)

Connector Quick Disconnect (ATC-QDY)

Dual SB-175 Gray connector harness plugs into the pallet truck and battery allowing ATC and pallet truck to be powered simultaneously

Two Tier Battery Compartment (ATC-2TIER)

Combines two roller compartment levels in one unit. Ideal for a combination of narrow aisle trucks and counter-balance trucks

Heavy Duty Cup & Motor (ATC-HD)

Heavy-duty 12" vacuum cup and motor are ideal for applications using slide strips

Permanent Mounting (ATC-MPJ)

Factory welding to customer supplied pallet truck

Bolt-On Kit (ATC-BLTON)

Bolt mounting solution when pallet truck is occasionally required for other tasks

Uncoated Rollers (ATC-UNCTD)

Reduces roller height by .25" to accommodate low battery compartments. Available on the ATC-24 model only

Rubber Flap Kit (ATC-RGD)

Covers the gear and chain assembly during extraction

Base Elevation (ATC-BSELV)

Increases roller height up to 10" to reach battery compartments beyond pallet truck maximum lift

Self Contained Charger (ATC-CHGR)

Self-contained charger used in conjunction with self-contained battery provides a convenient and complete battery changing system

Self Contained Battery Only (ATC-BATT)

Allows ATC to operate independently from lift truck
